Warrington Play and Sensory Centre is a purpose-built activity centre for disabled children and adults or those with special needs. It has a number of different areas where you can relax or play.
Our facilities have been planned carefully and are fully accessible to ensure that your time with us is as enjoyable as possible.
The Active Zone is a large soft play structure with a fun sea theme. Highlights include the large soft slide, dizzy disc and ball pool. There is more room than usual in the structure to allow parents and carers to stand up fully and provide support to children and adults as they make their way round.
The Calm Zone is a soft play area for those with reduced mobility or younger children. It includes a low level trampoline, swing, DVD player with a large screen, and a soft play agility kit and shapes.
The Sensory Room is a calm sensory environment. It includes a water bed, bubble tube, interactive light panel, fibre optic curtain, ball pool and light projection. An overhead hoist is available. Please note that one-to-one supervision is required in this area.
The Ripples Pre-school Area is a soft play area for younger children. It includes a small ball pool and soft play shapes.
The Reading Corner is a comfy seating area and chill out zone. There’s a library for children and adults to choose a story book from, plus informational books for parents and carers.
Enjoy your stay with a snack and a hot or cold drink in our café area.
We have a fully accessible disabled toilet with a height-adjustable changing bed and hoist.
