My son thoroughly enjoys going to the Woolston Play and Sensory Centre, possibly because there are different zones he can escape to and also because there are other children like him there. 

There is no other facility in the surrounding area which offers such an inviting, inclusive environment. It is ideal as a one stop shop for parents to talk with staff, gain knowledge and have a break, knowing that their young person is safe and enjoying themselves. 

The café is ideal for older children to practise their independent skills and the sensory room is perfect for some much needed relaxation. The sensory toys available are also a great addition, both for the young people and for parents who can identify which equipment suits them best. I hope that this facility will continue, although still in it’s infancy, I am confident it will continue to grow and expand further to meet the needs of young people in Warrington and beyond.
