Welcome to Warrington Life – Real Stories, Real Impact

At Warrington Life, we’re proud to support young people as they explore their future careers with confidence and clarity. On this page, you’ll hear directly from those who’ve experienced our guidance first-hand — sharing how our support helped them discover new opportunities, make informed choices, and take their next steps with purpose. Their journeys speak louder than words, and we’re excited for you to hear them.

We would of never have been able to get Samuel volunteering, but you have really worked with him and given Sam the time, explained all options open to him, listened to what he is interested in and really invested in him as a person. He would not have even considered volunteering but has succeeded thanks to the support that’s been offered by Lisa.  He feels he has purpose and with Lisa’s support he has made big changes. He loves the changes he has made and now wants to succeed with Buddy-up, where he has been for a few months. He has been allocated a young person to support on the programme where he is continuing to help the young person make changes.”

Lisa helped with my confidence and being less stressed when going for an interview.  Also helped with interview questions for me to ask.

I was supported on 'Reach your Potential'. It has helped me find a job, gain new qualifications and confidence. Being able to talk to someone each week has really helped me

A lot of people don’t know about the service we were provided with. It really helped M come out of his shell, and each week I could see him growing in confidence. It really helped him having someone to be able to talk to, who understood his problems, and was able to speak to other departments and find out information, as well as point us in the right direction. I’m made up that M now has a job, and we are still receiving support to get him back in college doing an adults mechanics course

:AM really likes you and even said you are the best young person professional she has met. You listened, didn’t try and downplay her difficulties and also didn’t go over the top with empathy

Parent/Carer

The service has been second to none. Responded quickly, did what they said they would and so much more. Very positive service to liaise with to support our young person (which can be rare in this current climate)

Staff (Other Professionals (SENDIASS)

I honestly don’t know what we would have done without Sharon on the case for us during the last couple of months! We were really struggling, and she was the light at the end of a very dark tunnel!

Parent/Carer

I now feel much more empowered now to make future career choices, submit high quality applications and prepare for interviews

K.H

The support exceeded my expectations. The focus on the individual needs and the time taken to grasp an understanding of the paths and actions needed was exceptional. No nonsense and straightforward approach was the right tactic with my daughter and helped remove some of the negative fears about the transition through exams and into a working environment.

We cannot thank you enough for you support and encouragement with our son Thomas for the past six months. You have been amazing and we will never forget what you have done – he got there in the end!
