The IDVA DA Triage worker will be part of the Warrington DA HUB based at Time Square and will be co-located initially within the MASH (Multiagency Safeguarding Hub) working closely with another IDVA DA Triage worker and partner agencies. 

The role

The key duties of the role requires screening all new DA referrals being referred into the MASH, undertaking DASH risk assessment and other relevant risk assessments, preparing and attending the daily VPA meeting, Making onward referrals updating records, responding to information requests, making initial calls ensuring that support is in place at the earliest opportunity, dealing with enquires, managing the inbox.

What's needed?

   *Working with victims of domestic abuse and/or sexual violence/homelessness/addiction/mental health and other wider health and social needs.

* Experience of undertaking risk assessments, managing caseloads, developing support plans, strong communication skills and ability to advocate for victims.

An eye for detail and professional curiosity are key skills that are needed for this role, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team setting with a commitment to go that extra mile to secure the best outcomes for those impacted by Domestic Abuse. We require an individual with strong emotional resilience and a flexible approach in delivering interventions and support to meet individual need.
