We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Social Workers to join Adult Community Social Work Teams within Warrington Borough Council.

Adult Community Social Work Teams comprise of specialist teams which include the Sensory, Physical & Neurological Team, Learning Disability Team and 2 Mental Health Teams.

The teams comprise of a Team Manager, a Senior Practitioner, Experienced Social Workers, Social Workers (including ASYE), Social Work Apprentices and Community Care Workers. The teams also have access to administration support.

The Adult Community Social Work Teams primarily works with people with a diverse range of complex needs including Physical Disability, Mental Health, Learning Disability, Acquired Brain Injury and Autistic Spectrum Conditions.

About You:

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.

• Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder.

• Strong assessment, communication, and advocacy skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

• Passionate about promoting independence, inclusion, and social justice for individuals with disabilities.
