The New Cut Heritage and Ecology Trail is an ongoing project to enhance a valuable group of local open spaces. The Trail includes:

The linear footpath from Paddington Bank off Kingsway up to Weir Lane, Woolston (Where it joins with Woolston eyes)
Paddington meadows Nature Reserve
The new £1.2m park location, near to Manchester Road
