Changes have been made to the Warrington Registration Service during the coronavirus pandemic.
Warrington is now under tier 4 restrictions, meaning that weddings and civil partnership ceremonies may only take place with up to 6 people present (including the couple). Anyone working is not included. However, ceremonies should only take place in tier 4 areas in exceptional circumstances, for example, an urgent ceremony where one of those getting married or forming a civil partnership is seriously ill and not expected to recover, or is to undergo debilitating treatment or life-changing surgery.
Please see the births, deaths and marriages coronavirus page for more information.
