If your charity owns a property which is unoccupied, it is exempt from council tax for up to six months from the date it became unoccupied. 

The property must have been used for the purposes of the charity up until that date and can be furnished or unfurnished.

If you are not a known charity to us, you will have to submit proof of your charitable status before applying for this exemption.
