We've published an Addendum to Appendix 3 of the Development Options and Site Assessment Technical Report (2021) in respect of the assessment of four  settlement ‘contender’ sites which were submitted after the conclusion of the previous Regulation 19 consultation.

The forms provide an assessment of additional sites considered during the preparation of the Updated Proposed submission Version Local Plan 2021.  The sites are assessed against social, economic and environmental criteria which determine whether the site is suitable for allocation for either residential or employment purposes within the Local Plan.  The assessment uses a traffic light system of green, yellow, amber or red to indicate how a site scores against each of the assessment criteria.  There is also a conclusion on a site’s overall suitability for sustainable development.
