Green waste collection service
We offer a green bin collection service for grass, flowers, plants, leaves, clippings, cuttings, weeds and other garden waste.
You can take out an annual subscription and we'll empty your bin every two weeks. If you don’t subscribe, your green bin can’t be emptied by our crews.
This year's service
7 March to 8 December
£43 by phone or in person*
*The price is the same even if you sign up part-way through the subscription year.
Why we charge for green bin collections
The money we receive from central government has reduced year on year and has affected the services we can provide. There is now not enough money to support a free garden waste collection and instead of shutting the service down we still offer it for a small fee.
How to subscribe
You'll need a My Warrington account, it's easy to register for an account if you don't have one. and you can do this as you subscribe to the Garden Waste service. You can read our step by step guide to registering on My Warrington.
When you take out your subscription, you'll need to tell us:
- your name
- home address

- how many green bins you want us to empty
New or extra green bins
If you don’t already have a green bin, or you want any extra green bins ,you can order these when you subscribe.

Please don’t put garden waste in your black bin
